Hanford Team Awarded Clean-up of Waste Sites Near D and DR Reactors
TerranearPMC, Envirocon’s prime contractor at the Washington Closure Hanford site in Richland, Washington, has been awarded more environmental cleanup work totaling an estimated $6.1 million.

Envirocon Crews Timely Performance Earns Praise for DOE
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) reached a Tri-Party Agreement Milestone ahead of schedule when Envirocon, along with its prime subcontractor Terranear PMC, recently completed remediation of five waste sites and one burial ground in the 300 Area of the Hanford Site in Richland, Washington.

Use Behavior Principles in your Safety Programs, they work!
It has been said that behavior-based safety is not a program, but rather a set of principles to be applied to other programs and procedures. Focusing on communication and awareness, a number of tools were introduced to drive improvement in our Safety Performance, but the most important was the clear communication of that message from senior managers. One specific area where the outcome was successful was in addressing vehicle-backing incidents.

Moab - DOE Project of the Month
The Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management has highlighted the Moab Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action (UMTRA) Project as its "EM Project of the Month".
Since June 2007, Envirocon has been performing work on the Moab Project as a subcontractor to EnergySolutions, which is the Remedial Action Contractor responsible for relocating the 16-million-ton uranium mill tailings pile from the banks of the Colorado River near Moab, Utah.
