Award of the Natomas Cross Canal South Levee Phase 2 - Sacramento, CA
The Natomas Cross Canal (NCC) South Levee Phase 2 is the third phase of a six year, multi-million dollar levee improvement project for the Natomas Basin in Sacramento, CA under the direction of the Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency (SAFCA). The project involves the installation of a soil-bentonite cutoff wall along the western side of the NCC South Levee and the northern section of the Sacramento River East Levee. This project’s General Contractor is Teichert Construction and Envirocon is one of the three slurry wall subcontractors to complete approximately 1.3 million sf of cut-off wall. The portion of cut-off wall that Envirocon will be completing is approximately 6,720 linear feet long, 450,000 square feet and will be installed up to 77 feet below the levee crown.
