New Director of Quality & Environment

Envirocon is pleased to announce that Richard Allen has joined our staff as the new Director of Quality and Environment. Mr. Allen has over 16 years of experience in the Environmental Health & Safety and Regulatory Compliance fields. He has extensive experience strategically developing, leading, and implementing Quality, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence and Environmental Program Improvement practices, including Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance (EHS), OSHA, OHSMA and OHSAS 18001, ISO 9000 & 14001.

Prior to joining Envirocon, Mr. Allen was a Quality, Safety and Environmental Director with Wayne Perry, Inc., where he formulated and improved global Quality, Safety and Environmental (QSE) strategies for the organization. Mr. Allen is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) and holds certifications as a Lean Enterprise expert and a Six Sigma Black Belt. He received a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Operations Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from California State Polytechnic University. Mr. Allen began his career as a Regulatory Compliance Officer/Environmental Health Specialist (EHS) for the County of Orange in Santa Ana, CA.

Mr. Allen will partner with Senior Management and key stakeholders to foster a culture of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement at all levels of the organization, including Quality and Environmental. With respect to Quality, this position is the Corporate Quality Manager (CQM) for the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) to implement the Company’s Quality Policy “to provide services that meet or exceed our clients’ quality expectations and to improve our quality performance continually”. With respect to Environmental, this position is responsible for ensuring that operational activities are compliant with non-occupational rules and regulations, including federal, state, and local.

Richard has enjoyed government, industrial, commercial and global corporate roles working directly with the world’s largest and most competitive global energy leaders.
