Winning Proposal - USACE American River Common Features - Pocket Geotechnical
Envirocon submitted the winning proposal for this competitively bid contract for the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers, Sacramento District to construct two reaches of cut-off walls along the Sacramento River in
Sacramento County. The first reach, Reach 9 requires a cut-off wall that is approximately 1,480-feet long and 40-feet deep, and will use conventional slurry mixing. Reach 2 will have a cut-off wall that is approximately 1,750-feet long and 110-feet deep and requires deep soil mix construction. The project began in September and will finish in November 2006.
