USACE American River Pocket Geotechnical Project Nominated for USACE Sacramento 2006 Pacific Division Project of the Year- Civil Works
The American River Common Features, Pocket Geotechnical project executed for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers by Envirocon has been nominated to receive the USACE Pacific Division Project of the Year- Civil Works. The scope of work for the project included constructing a 1,750-foot deep mix method cutoff wall approximately 110-feet deep and a 1,520-foot long soil-cement-bentonite cutoff wall reaching a depth of 40 feet in the existing Sacramento Levee.
