2007 ASCE Outstanding Engineering Project Award Nomination
The American River Common Features - Pocket Geotechnical Project completed by Envirocon in 2007 has been nominated as the ASCE Sacramento Section 2007 Outstanding Engineering Project for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District.
The American River Common Features Project is located on the American River Watershed in Sacramento, California.
Envirocon' completed the American River Common Features, Pocket Geotechnical Project in 2006 for the USACE. The scope of work for the project included constructing a 1,750-foot long deep mix method cutoff wall approximately 110-feet deep and a 1,520-foot long soil-cement-bentonite cutoff wall reaching a depth of 40 feet in the existing Sacramento Levee.
