More Work for Envirocon at the ExxonMobil Gypstack located in Pasadena Texas

Terra Environmental recently awarded Envirocon Work Order #9 at the ExxonMobil Gypstack No. 3 Side Slope Lining Project in Pasadena, Texas. The scope of work associated with Work Order #9 includes clearing and grubbing of 13 acres as well as constructing access roads to facilitate the construction of a 1 million gallon per day Double Lime Treatment Plant which will be used to neutralize the low pH water from the surrounding Gypstacks.

In the fall of 2006, Envirocon was awarded two original contracts at the site. The first contract included construction management and safety oversight for the construction of the Injection Well Treatment plant. The second contract included constructability estimating and work plan development for slope restoration and toe drain construction associated with Gypstacks 3, 4 & 5. Project staff plans to complete this portion of the work by the end of August 2008.
