Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity has allowed many low-income families to find new hope in the form of affordable housing. Through hard work,
faith, and perseverance families are able to achieve their dream of owning their own home. On August 23, 2006 a group
of employees from Envirocon contributed to Habitat's wonderful tradition of community assistance.
Envirocon united with other Washington Companies and donated almost 64 hours of manual labor to help build a house for a
Missoula family. The Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation also donated $10,000 to the Habitat organization.
By contributing to Habitat again this year, the Washington Foundation continues a partnership that's almost 10 years old.
Joni Jo Uhe, an Envirocon volunteer, remarked that "volunteering at Habitat allows me to give back to my community,
and knowing that my employer helped make this happen provides me with pride in the company I work for."
