Former Fertilizer Plant Site - Pasadena, TX
Envirocon has been providing construction services in the form of two separate projects at the former fertilizer site in Pasadena, Texas since 2006. The first project includes coordination of construction, management, and health & safety oversight during the construction of a water treatment plant. After a year of construction and negotiating with regulatory agencies, the Interim Water Treatment Facility has started receiving process water from the on-site North Stack through the filtering system. The project is scheduled to acidize the injection well April 21, 2008 and then proceed with injecting 21 million gallons of filtered process water. The remaining construction includes the installation of the two heaters for the system as well as a permanent pumping station at the South Stack which contains 1.5 to 2 billion gallons of process water.
On the second project, Envirocon assisted Terra (design engineer) with the design and work control documents for Phases 1 & 2 of the Gypstack 4 Closure Project also at the former fertilizer plant site in Pasadena, Texas. Envirocon mobilized resources to implement Phase 1 of the Statement of Work (SOW) which includes: constructing entrances to the site; mobilizing and setting up temporary facilities; installing erosion controls; upgrading and installing access roads around the gypstack; and installing gypstack toe drain system around the of perimeter Gypstack 4.
Phase 1 should be complete June 2008 and Phase 2 Jan 2009.
