Envirocon Announces Promotions and Organizational Improvements

Envirocon, a premier North American provider of environmental remediation; geotechnical construction; decontamination, decommissioning and demolition (DD&D); dredging and sediment remediation; and government and nuclear services, is pleased to announce the following promotions and organizational improvements to better serve our valued clients.


McQuearySteve McQueary, PMP has been promoted to Vice President of Envirocon’s nuclear services and government services business lines. Steve joined Envirocon in 2000 and has over 25 years of experience in the environmental remediation and nuclear services industries. Since joining Envirocon, Steve has assumed progressively greater roles of responsibility ranging from Heath Physics Supervisor to Project Director for remediation. Most recently, Steve has managed Envirocon’s nuclear services program at the Hanford site where to date we have completed 17 projects valued at over $87M. In his new position, Steve is responsible for delivering outstanding service for both commercial and federal nuclear clients including the Department of Energy (DOE) and Department of Defense (DOD).


David Jacobs As Vice President of Remediation and Decommissioning/Demolition, David Jacobs continues to lead Envirocon’s national DD&D operations as well as remediation operations in the western U.S. Dave joined Envirocon in 1999 and has over 22 years of experience in directing successful demolition and hazardous waste site remediation activities nationwide. Recent project successes for David’s team include the decommissioning and demolition of multiple aluminum smelters in the U.S. and Canada, decommissioning of a large chemical warfare incineration facility in Utah, and the decommissioning of a 490 megawatt coal-fired power plant in South Carolina.


Foreman_HarryHarry Foreman, Vice President of Remediation continues to provide leadership for remediation operations in the Midwest, Southeast, and Eastern U.S. in addition to overseeing all national geotechnical construction. Harry joined Envirocon in 1998 and has over 27 years of experience in the environmental remediation and industrial services industries. Harry and his team were recently awarded several projects involving liabilities associated with manufactured gas plants, and are also currently completing a large gypstack closure program in Pasadena, Texas involving 13 individual projects valued at over $50M. Harry has recently expanded his operational capacity with the addition of senior operations staff located in the Gulf Coast and Midwest.


Jack MagerijianJack Maserejian, Senior Vice President and Chief Client Officer is expanding his role in Canada to support corporate client advocacy and business development across North America. Paul Halliday, President of Envirocon’s Canadian operations will work with Jack to expand the Canadian business development team to support our growing client needs.
