Started in 2009 by the Dennis & Phyllis Washington Foundation, the Pay It Forward campaign provides charitable giving cards to 250 employees across the Washington Companies to support the causes close to their hearts. This program emphasizes grassroots philanthropy that the Washington family and the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation greatly value. This year, the giving cards went to a variety of national and local causes – food pantries, animal assistance programs, and specifically to families in need.
