Envirocon Maximizes Project Execution by Centralizing Project Delivery

Reinforcing Envirocon’s theme of reliability for 2017 and our commitment to Operational Excellence, we have centralized our corporate Project Delivery Organization (PDO). The PDO provides consistent, integrated resources, tools, and processes to Operations to improve the reliability of our project performance while providing multiple services, including: performance analysis; earned value management; productivity tracking; cost management and analysis; schedule tracking and analysis; and change management controls. As a client-focused organization, Envirocon strives to develop and maintain processes that provide our clients consistency and reliable project delivery. Envirocon’s PDO is organized into four functional, integrated groups that include Estimating, Project Controls, Quality, and Equipment. The PDO is led by Kris Kok, a 29-year employee of Envirocon and Senior Vice President.

Kirk Hogan, Estimating Manager, is responsible for our systems and processes related to estimating. Kirk and his team are currently transitioning Envirocon to a new estimating software platform that will improve Envirocon’s estimating capabilities and allow integration with our accounting and scheduling systems, resulting in more efficient, accurate project performance tracking throughout the duration of our projects. The software is used for the life of the project, streamlining operations from the estimate through project completion, including the ability to track labor and equipment resources. Kirk has over 19 years of project management, engineering, and estimating experience.

Nate Hohenstreet recently joined Envirocon as our Project Controls Manager. He is responsible for the systems and processes related to scheduling and financial tracking and analysis of our projects and programs. Nate and his team are currently migrating our scheduling software to the current version of the cloud-based Primavera. This collaborative software also integrates with accounting and estimating systems to track and measure progress against the baseline schedule from project planning through final execution. Nate has over 13 years of experience specializing in project controls and project management.

Josh Bale, P.E. serves as Envirocon’s Corporate Quality Assurance Manager, and leads the development, implementation, and ongoing management of quality programs, policies, and strategies that respond to both client and industry standards. He brings 11 years of experience in the environmental engineering and civil construction industry to his role. Josh’s primary responsibility is working with Envirocon project teams to ensure that we continue to deliver high quality services that meet our Operational Excellence goals and our client’s project objectives.

Marty Bishop, a long-term Envirocon employee with over 29 years of experience, serves as Equipment Manager and manages all aspects of owned equipment including purchasing, maintenance, and accounting. Marty also handles equipment rental sourcing for our projects and maintains relationships with multiple rental companies throughout the U.S. that are used to supplement our owned equipment resources.

In always seeking continuous improvement, Envirocon enhances and improves all aspects of project execution by purposefully structuring a specific focused project delivery group. Centralizing Envirocon’s PDO maximizes our safe and successful project delivery to our clients and allows us to reliably provide safe solutions to our clients’ project needs.
