The Envirocon team holds a responsibility to serve our communities through volunteerism and philanthropy. Reaching out and engaging with our local communities is an integral part of who we are. The Dennis & Phyllis Washington Foundation, in conjunction with Envirocon, recently presented a $10,000 grant to support SOAR365. Over the past 65 years, SOAR365 strives to create life-fulfilling opportunities for individuals with disabilities in central Virginia. As part of their mission, everyone who works or volunteers with the organization shares a simple belief: When someone comes through the doors—no matter the age—SOAR365 works hard to understand their needs, desires, dreams, and goals. They find ways to provide every individual and family with the comprehensive services that work best.

The Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation is the major philanthropic organization for The Washington Companies and the Washington family. The Foundation strives to better the human condition by supporting programs and services that give people the tools to enhance the quality of their lives and to benefit society as a whole. Funding for the Foundation comes from personal contributions from the Washington family and annual contributions from The Washington Companies.
